This is my rosary. One of them anyway, Its made on a coil that can be worn on the wrist. Begins with the Crucifix, and ends with the Miraculous medal.

red faux croc...

I'm a green girl. Green in all its forms has always been my favorite color. Mint, hunter, sage, olive. I love green. And brown. I have no idea why I picked a red faux croc purse. I love it.

Ok, no creative photo today...

because I took a quick icky photo of my big bare wall over my big bare brick fireplace. I want to make a photo wall using some of my favorite prints.. and so I was thinking and brainstorming..

I'm asking for thoughts and opinions, This is a fast and loose interpretation of what I want to do, no formal cropping or sizing, but I made some a little bigger other smaller according to how I think they look good.

For reference, the fireplace is 7 ' wide and from the top to the ceiling is 4' 3". I'm thinking prints mounted on foam core so every once in a while I can change them out, add new favorites.

Thoughts opinions... lay it on me.

How I spent my Saturday. Notice the favorite jammies, the un-manicured feet, and the pink polish that is half gone. If you look even closer you will see the cough drop wrapper a kid left and the hole in the arm of the couch, where a kid experimented with scissors.

Left the house at 11:30 looking like this....returned at 3:00 looking like this.

Self portraits in the bathroom are better at 4:30 than at 11, and I am delighted to already know the reason without having to ask anyone. It proves that I have learned something!!

An all day affair.

I cleaned in the living room on Saturday. I'm a terrible packrat,k so the place gets cluttery really quick. and the carpet hides under the stuff... I unearthed it. and here is the proof....

I'm a stalker...

I have more photos of this wall than I really should have. It is in the alley of my favorite coffee place. If I can afford to get a coffee I enjoy my time in the drive thru looking at the old Pillsbury sign. I love the riot of colors on the bricks. One day I sat across the street and shot pictures as people used the drive thru.. boy did I get some looks that day.

I'm cheating...

I did not take this photo today. I took it yesterday morning, when there was frost on my car windows. But... today was wet cold dreary and sunless. The neighbor came over and we watched horsey movies. I think the frosted glass is appropriate to post on such a day.

the old men

One of the things I love about our property is the age of the place. The house was built in the 1850's and we have 4 pine trees in the front yard that tower over the house. The old men. I cannot imagine what changes they have witnessed and I with they would tell me their stories.

sugar high

I try to save my sugar intake for chocolate, but I cant resist a small binge on smarties once a year at Halloween.

dripping fire

Photos just don't do this tree justice, the top was bare and the bulk of the tree was bright gold, and the fire red was dripping off the bottom. this is the best picture I could get in the wind, and it still lacks the impact the tree really had.

Hopped out the car to snap these... unlike the kids, hubby is not usually treated to the photo tour type of errand running I tend to do. Can you tell? He didn't even roll down the window....

the return.

Paco and Ginger, who belong to my neighbor, have moved back onto our place for the winter. This is Ginger, or rather her eye, she has a sweet kind motherly eye. And try as I might I tried to get a picture without that turquoise trailer behind her.. and you know what? Its the one I like the best. Go figure.

Dangerous Driving

It is all I can do to pay attention and drive with this kind of stuff distracting me. And I'm really surprised no one has called the cops on the crazy lady out front under their trees with a camera....

Evolution

I was thinking about change. How my taste in accessories has changed lately. When I got that gray phone on the end? I would not have gotten a pink phone unless it was my only choice. Now? See that shiny pink phone on the end? I chose that one because it was shiny and pink. (It did not hurt that it was next generation of the other pink one and a sanyo, which have been great phones for me) But there where other phones that brand, and others that where free to upgrade to. I chose shiny and pink chrome. And I think I have nail polish that matches it.

What changed? I have a husband and two boys and my inner girlie girl needs out sometimes.
