flocked

Last chance, to get a shot of the wreath well dressed with new fallen snow, until next year, so I took it.

yep, I'm hot

Two of my favorite "everyday" things. When I can't afford expensive coffee, McD's will do, and I can't be without my shiny pink phone, it is my alarm clock and my watch, and my life line to the Hubby.

Structure
This is the sun coming through the corn crib at our house.
And the dog, doesn't she look so structured and uptight right there? She is watching my husband, whom she considers a god, and she is not about to let him out of her sight.

Glazed
It took me long enough to get out in the ice and shoot a few, and dang was it cold. But it was beautiful too. Heavily overcast when I shot these.

Oh the weather outside is frightful...

Thank God for Carhartts!!!
On a side note, I'm behind getting photo's up, I'll be working on that today, be watching for back dated posts. It's been a busy week, I kept shooting, but I could not get the time to post.

hot, hot, hot
We took the kids to the local coffee house for hot cocoa and treats rather than our usual coffee and donuts. They sang the Hot Hot Hot song from Polar Express the whole way there .
I was not quick enough on the trigger to get the untouched whipped cream swirl.

I did get the whipped cream mustache, however.
And I had to get a shot of Mini-Poppy, cleaning the side of the cup. Just like my Dad, his Poppy would.

Out of range
I tried to get as close to this tree as I could without getting out of the car and wandering off into the field, because it was bitterly cold. But I just don't seem to have gotten close enough. I was so cold, and the sun was not out. I could not bring myself to wander stranger's fields in the cold haze.

this morning
Unlike yesterday, this morning dawned bright and colorful, the temp was lovely and the sun was happy. But it was all down hill from there. The sky closed up and tossed a few inches of snow on us and the wind blew it across our ever drifting road.
