lowlight human tripod.

I was trying to see how still I could hold the camera to shoot inside in really low light.. I was shooting my snack. I was tired and a little loopy. None of the shots are really clear.. but it was entertaining to try.

red faux croc...

I'm a green girl. Green in all its forms has always been my favorite color. Mint, hunter, sage, olive. I love green. And brown. I have no idea why I picked a red faux croc purse. I love it.

cat

I was sitting on the couch shooting the cat, with the flash. I think I shoot 20 pictures and she closed her eyes every time. Man can she blink fast!! I never can get pics of her in the day in the windows because if she sees me coming she just walks off. No running like she is scared.. just walks off.

Primitive markings

window to the soul

All are just a little different from each other; they are in order of how they appeal to me. I think.

Caught up

Finally.

Guess what I did yesterday...

Before you panic and think I'm crazy to do a wedding... (and I would be crazy, and I am a little crazy) The wedding in question was the proud nupuals of the letters Q and U hosted by my son's Kindergarten class. My son was the intrepid groom, Mr Q. and one of his classmates was the blushing bride Mrs U. I would post more pictures, but I dont feel comfortable posting other people's children here without permission.

Boy was the lighting harsh. Bright light, venetian blinds and the cave like darkness of a school as soon as your stepped away from the windows.

Favorites

I love this pair of boots, I wear them a whole lot more than I ever thought I would. There is an almost identical pair by the same company, and I'd love to have them too.... they just cost money right? It is unlikely I will get the other pair, But I can't say I'm not getting my $ out of these.

..cheating....

On our way out of the city, we had to stop for White Castles. Hubby and I each snacked a couple and some fries before stopping in a hotel for the night. We left the rest out in the deep freeze, so the kids could have them later. I'm cheating beacause I did not take a single photo on the 17th, this was Friday night (the 16th) But this is the runner up to the fountain of light photo I posted for the 16th.

Comparative analysis

More eggs! I know that is what everyone wants to see. But I wanted a picture that would show the different sizes of the eggs. That white egg in the center is your average grade A large egg. Had to buy some eggs last week. No one was laying. Clockwise from the top. An egg from the new Chickens, smallest one they have laid, it has a nice dark color. Another two from the new Chickens, most are this size, notice none of them are green or blue. :( Next that larger medium brown egg, I don't know who laid it. I'm guessing from the size it was one of the Older chickens, if it was a new girl I bet it hurt! next is a nice light brown from a new girl, I think the whitest hen is laying those. it is almost the size of the store bought egg. That last egg at 9 o'clock in the picture, it is the very last egg the older "girls" laid before they quite laying, do you see how big it is compared to the store egg? they taste better too. ;)

Maybe when the weather gets nice I will get some nice pictures of the flock. They move like toddlers, darn hard to get good pictures of them.

yard art

Not so much art I guess. Its a spool with some old barbed wire on it. It is hanging out in our yard.

yep, I'm hot

Two of my favorite "everyday" things. When I can't afford expensive coffee, McD's will do, and I can't be without my shiny pink phone, it is my alarm clock and my watch, and my life line to the Hubby.

Still....

.... playing catch-up. And Blogger is not co-operating. Pictures are not loading well. It's making it tough to stick with the catching up...

I was still playing with the tree when I took these. I can't decide which one I like the best. I think its this first one.

what's in your wallet?

or who's in your fridge. I think maybe I'll take all the shelves out and use it as a light box, the light inside isn't bad. Santa and Santa got grounded, do you see the tear? the owners brother tore it.. and the untorn one has a smooshed face. Yeah.. the Santas got grounded.

I included this picture even though it isn't very creative, I could not help but chuckle over the hand position and the serious face. Kind of a sleeping "thinker"

mixed emotions

My newer, younger chickens have started to lay eggs. Hooray! They are supposed to be blue and green. Not pale brown. Boooo.

and all is right with the world.

The lovely foamy swirl atop a Breve from our local coffee house. Its hard for the day to go wrong when you follow Church with that.

Throw in a slice of carrot cake to share with the hubby....
.... who got the last bite...
.. and hot chocolate for the kids..
.. and the morning is Complete.

Lights... again

Sat around with a bucket that has garland lights and pine cones in it, just playing with shooting the lights, I did not notice until I was looking at the photos how dusty some of the lights are!
