It isn't very often...

...that I purposely swap lenses and use the 18 - 55mm lens, but it was just the right night for it.

somedays you run out of light.

I know odd photo, I could not get a bald head and eyes without getting a dirty look, could be that I was flashing the poor guy with the camera. At any rate, a couple weeks ago my husband just showed up looking like a shorn sheep.

Lights... again

Sat around with a bucket that has garland lights and pine cones in it, just playing with shooting the lights, I did not notice until I was looking at the photos how dusty some of the lights are!

Love

This is my Hubby's Uncle with his newest grandbaby, I had to fight for enough light to not use the flash. We took the shade off the lamp next to the chair, and that still was not really enough light. Outside was terribly overcast.

Fly with Me

This little crane flies with me in the car. It is one of the first ones I made from polymer clay. When there is nothing else to shoot and I'm bored in the car I shoot him. This is not his first picture, but its the first time he has made the cut onto a 365 post. I like this picture because the blurry building in the background is the boy's school. This is a common view from the drivers seat.

the opposite of white caps?

I love the way the soil peaks through the snow before it gets too deep, when you can still see the plow lines. I'd have liked to have zoomed in and composed this a little differently, but I couldn't. Wasn't feeling the kit lens at that moment.
