naked framework fascinates me, but I found getting an angle I liked on this to be quite a challenge.. this one still doesn't quite do it

I can get the whole building in the picture. But I'm still missing the other lens.

Primitive markings

dinosaur tracks.
...or chicken footprints in the snow. They have such a primitive look to them, they crack me up.

Still....

.... playing catch-up. And Blogger is not co-operating. Pictures are not loading well. It's making it tough to stick with the catching up...

I was still playing with the tree when I took these. I can't decide which one I like the best. I think its this first one.

Out of range

I tried to get as close to this tree as I could without getting out of the car and wandering off into the field, because it was bitterly cold. But I just don't seem to have gotten close enough. I was so cold, and the sun was not out. I could not bring myself to wander stranger's fields in the cold haze.

the opposite of white caps?

I love the way the soil peaks through the snow before it gets too deep, when you can still see the plow lines. I'd have liked to have zoomed in and composed this a little differently, but I couldn't. Wasn't feeling the kit lens at that moment.

Snow

Went out to shoot a few at the park after church, its hard to beat the quiet stillness of the snow covered park.
