weed

light and water.

alium

Spring onion maybe? they bloom out the back door every year, and I love them, the white and green is so fresh looking.

goldilocks

grass

Another weed, when these get to the end of their life they drop off much of the top of the plant and what is left is a a starburst on a stem.

sunny side up

So, have you ever seen a really big dandelion wishing puff? I mean really big. Those are a completely different plant. Those are this plant, last year I watched them bloom on our road, and I got all excited thinking about photographing the wishing puffs, and then they all got mowed before they opened. This year there are a few on our property, and on the dead end side road. Here's to hoping!

That kind of day....

I went out to lock up the animals ad I could not find me other "notcroc" so I put on the first other left shoe I came to. took the dandelion photo on the way to the shed.. maybe I need another subject? The Irises should bloom soon!

wishes

The boys call these wishes. "Look Mommy I found a wish for you!" I biggest obstacle I face trying to photograph a wish is getting to it before a boy uses it or a dog stomps all over it.
